Freshmen Council

Are
you a freshman interested in the College of Engineering, Architecture, and
Technology (CEAT) Freshman Council? CEAT Freshman Council is sponsored by
the CEAT Student Council and led by two Council-appointed facilitators.
The goals for the 2009-2010 CEAT Freshman Council are to:
- Prepare freshmen for leadership in the College of
Engineering, Architecture, and Technology emphasizing the foundation
of teamwork.
- Familiarize freshmen with CEAT Student Council;
its role, mission, and activities; and its members.
- Build a strong academic, social, and support environment
for freshmen.
- Have fun!
Members
of the CEAT Freshman Council will be selected through an application and
interview process. Membership is open to all traditional freshmen pursuing
a degree in the College of Engineering, Architecture, and Technology at
Oklahoma State University. Completed
applications
are due to Room 101 in the Engineering North Building before noon on Thursday,
September 3rd, 2009. A list of applicants selected for interviews will
be posted outside of Room 101 in the Engineering North Building on
Friday, September 4th, 2009 by 8:00 a.m. At that time, selected applicants must
sign up for interview times.
CEAT Freshman Council members are expected to attend all meetings.
Meetings will be held on Thursday evenings at 6:30pm.
